What do you enjoy most about CCS?
What I love most about CCS is that it teaches us about faith and community. To learn and grow with your peers, build connections with people in your community, and learn the word of God means a lot, and I’m grateful to play a part in it.
Tell us about your family!
I grew up in Camarillo. I lived here most of my childhood life with my Mom. And although we didn’t have it that easy, she was my biggest supporter and always pushed me to go to college. I have a soft spot for this town as I have a lot of memories here. She always told us to believe in God’s timing and to be back here in a supporting role is a true blessing for me.
What is your favorite scripture verse and why?My favorite scripture is James 1:12. It has been with me for a while and I frequently refer to it whenever I’m going through tough times. It reminds me that each trial brings us closer to God, trusting him throughout the whole journey of our lives.
